Visiting as a group?
From from triceratops to saber tooth tigers, from skinks to snakes, you’ll meet animals from current and prehistoric habitats around the world with a visit to Burpee Museum. Education groups and schools have special pricing and opportunities including guided tours and workshops.
Large Non-School Groups
Large tour groups, large family groups, residential facilities and others looking to explore the museum with over 15 people receive discounted admission to the museum when booking in advance. You will be connected to a docent who will provide your group a special, one of a kind intro to the museum exhibits. You can choose from fossil/dino or reptile/amphibian focus.
To receive your discounted rates, please book your reservation at least 2 weeks in advance.

Large Group Details
- Request must be submitted at least 2 weeks (14 days) in advance of the expected visit date.
- To be considered for a group visit, there must be at least 15 visitors or more who are part of your group. Please note that infants (ages 0-3) are free to visit the museum with your group but do not qualify forwards the 15 visitor count.
- Requested dates and times are subject to availability based on when your request is submitted.
- Your reservation is not guaranteed until you receive an official confirmation email with a confirmed date of visit from Burpee Museum team.
Discount Rate:
Group rate of $9.00 per person
- $9.00 per person over age 3
- 15 min docent welcome and introduction (optional)
- Experience Enhanced add-ons are an extra charge
- Lunchroom can be reserved (ask for details)
