Biology Summer Camp

Join us for a fun week of all things biology!

This four-day camp will allow students to dig deeper into topics with connected activities across the week. Laboratory experiences will include classroom experiments, lab work in the Burpee’s River lab, the new biology research lab, and the Nature Nook.

Students should bring a sack lunch. Friday (the final day) is a parent/guardian open house where participants can show off what they have learned during the week! Local food trucks will be available.

Feathers, scales, and tails are only a small part of what these animals have in common! Work with live animals and become a zoologist and behavioral scientist for a week with Burpee as you dive into the biology of fish, insects, birds, amphibians, and reptiles. Students will study live specimens to learn behavior, work in our backyard AquaAerobics River Laboratory and Nature Nook, conduct experiments, gather data, and begin analytical discussions of the animal sciences.
