Wild Turkey

Wild turkeys can run up to 19 miles per hour. They were almost wiped out in the 1900's but have recovered quickly. Who else will you find in the Burpee's Forest Exhibit?

Some wetlands have more water than others. From swamps to shallow ponds, come learn what you can find in your local wetlands. Did you know Illinois has lost over 90% of its original wetland acreage?
