Group Tour Guide
Hours: 2-5 weekly, weekdays during the school year
THe Education Department is seeking one or two adult volunteers to lead group tours for schools and other groups on a semi-regular basis. Applicants must have expereince working with groups of children and an interest or basic knowledge in natural history topics. Ideal for retired teachers who are missing their students! Subject to background check, training provided.
Live Animal Care
Hours: 2–3 weekly. Must commit to a regular day and time, one day a week (Monday, Wednesday and/or Friday)
Wanted! Reliable, responsible individuals to assist museum staff with the maintenance of our live animals (reptiles, amphibians, insects). Candidates should have experience and/or serious interest in caring for live animals on a regular schedule. This opening also presents the opportunity for interested individuals to develop independent study based upon the animals. Training provided, ages 16 and up. |
