Montana: Medicine Rocks Lodge 2012

NEW! Highway to Hell Creek goes High End
In the past, Burpee's Montana Expeditions have been "rustic"
at best. Medicine Rocks Lodge is changing all that. Be one of the first to experience this beautiful hunting retreat on the edge of Medicine Rocks State Park. After a long day of hunting dinosaurs, relax around the wood stove or take a stroll down to the riffle range. Really, there's a shooting range.

Why Medicine Rocks and not Camp needmore?
Camp Needmore is great and accommodates
a large crew easily. The week at the lodge is limited to only ten adult guests plus staff. A couple things that the lodge has and the camp does not: Laundry Room, Phone, Cell Phone Reception, Cable TV, Propane Grills, Picnic Area, Private rooms for couples, and Bathrooms with doors. We are also trying to arrange internet service by summer 2012. If you're used to roughing it, these things can seem silly but if sharing a cabin with eight people and a bathroom with twenty people has kept you from joining us in Montana, this trip is for YOU!

Sleeping arrangements and facilities:
There are three private rooms with one double bed in each for couples and an open loft with 6 single beds, this does not include the staff accommodations. There is a total of four full bathrooms and three floors. The private rooms are reserved for couples and will be assigned in order of registration date. The master bedroom on the main level is the photo shown to the left.

Expedition Orientation Dates:
You can expect to learn all you need to know to get the most out of your adventure and get any questions answered. Public welcome. All sessions are from 1:00-3:00 pm and are held at Burpee Museum. 2012 orientations are scheduled for Saturday, April 28th & Saturday, June 30th.
